Amanda Simons
Ambika Law P.C.
Amanda is an advocate for children and youth, practicing in the areas of education and disability law. In her effort to build community and self-reliance, she also provides legal guidance to nonprofits and small businesses.
Amanda founded Ambika Law, P.C. to provide services to children with mental health and special education needs. Because children with special need are more frequently the victim of crime and torts, Amanda's practice focus on advocacy for child crime survivors.
As a survivor of childhood sexual assault and the parent of special need child, Amanda provides trauma-informed advocacy and exceptional client results. She is a passionate believer in unique civil rights of children and works with numerous national advocacy organizations to protect the most vulnerable through law and policy.

Leslie Devlin
Devlin Law Office
Leslie practices in the area of special education law.
Leslie started her law career after twenty years as a film and television makeup artist in entertainment industry.
She has found a niche advocating on behalf of children with disabilities who deserve the right to a free and appropriate public education.
Leslie is also dedicated to civil and human rights, and has worked pro bono with organizations that provide humanitarian relief for immigrants.
Leslie earned her B.A. from San Francisco State in Humanities; a Master of Arts degree in African Studies from UCLA and her law degree from Southwestern Law School.

Rolando Fuentes

Rolando's education in immigration law started long before law school: he was an immigrant himself from Guatemala.

Sherri Sturgeon
Sturgeon Immigration
Sherri practices immigration law and is also a seasoned mediator.
Sherri pursued a career in law because of the grave injustices she saw while living and working overseas.
As a student at Regent University Law School of Virginia, Sherri advocated for immigrant rights at the United States southern border.
In addition to Sherri's skills as a certified mediator, she advocates both in and out of courtroom, providing affordable family and humanitarian immigration services. She also offers pre-litigation mediation services, seeking to put the justice back in the justice system. Sherri is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia.

Sarah Cortez

Sarah provides services in immigration law, limited conservatorship and guardianships. Prior to starting her own firm, Sarah defended unaccompanied minors in removal proceedings, as well as noncitizens with serious convictions or who were declared incompetent by court. Today, Sarah focuses on helping noncitizens apply for immigration benefits, including minors minors eligible for special immigrant juvenile status (SIJS).
In addition to her immigration work, Sarah also enjoys helping clients make a fresh start by clearing old criminal records through expungements and other post conviction remedies.
